Buying Domains the Correct Way

Just buy a good domain name, put up a site, get some traffic (and hopefully some sales) than list it on Flippa and make a little money. Think about it, if you only paid $10 for a domain name and a little bit for hosting, and then you sold the site for only $200 that’d be a fairly nice profit for such a fast and simple sale.
When it is time to selecting your website name there’s a few simple things to bear in mind:
Do keyword research to find a keyphrase list linked with your niche that get a large amount of traffic each month. For instance, in the niche for cat toys let’s say I found a great keyword that gets plenty of monthly searches without too much competition: inexpensive pussy-cat toys. Than I would wish to use that as my domain.
If all of your advertising efforts are going to be online I would not worry too much about the extension. I’ve had similarly good luck using a .com, .net, or .org. All my advertising efforts are with pay per click or article marketing so no one must type in my site name, they just click a link which is the reason why I don’t believe the extensions matter too much. If you’re going to be promoting in such a way that folks would really type in the web site name to find your internet site, it may make more of a difference.
Treat your online business like a business and build your internet presence and professionalism by buying website name. The inexpensive route can work in a pinch but as fast as you can afford $10 or therefore purchase your own name.
