Duquette Johnston's first record for Superphonic has been a long time coming. After having left Verbena, Johnston spent 10 years writing and recording, but nothing ever felt quite right. It wasn't until a run-in with the law and a bit of jail time that Duquette knew it was time to get it done. The resulting album 'Etowah,' named for the county where Duquette served his time, is a reflection on where life can take a wrong turn and the hard road to redemption. With a sound that recalls both the 70's singer/songwriter explosion and his own hard rock roots, Johnston has finally created the first album in a sure to be great legacy to come.
